GIVE BACK CONGRESS…
How do we take back our government? We begin by practicing
the very principle that our framers so wisely put before us:
We must ALL vote !
We
must ALL be informed !
We must ALL change the current member representing
us today !
We do not propose that any party control the power. We only seek
to get back our sovereignty from the special interest, lobbyist and
corporations. It is time to put the people first.
Thomas Jefferson said that “when people fear their government, there is
tyranny; when the government fears the people there is liberty”. It is
time for the status quo to fear the people. For way too long the status
quo has expected us to be like sheep herded to slaughter. To continue
on the path to madness. To accept the status quo because : I’m only one
person and I cannot change things with my vote. To continue to put the
same people in power and expect different results. If we continue doing
what we are doing then we will continue getting what we are getting.
Our government is strongest when everybody feels a part of it. The
government is best that governs the least because people discipline
themselves. Thomas Jefferson said “ I know of no safe depository of the
ultimate powers of the society but the people themselves; and if we think
them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome
discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them but to inform their
discretion”.
